US sales of grain this past week…
Interesting strength in corn… sales,
China is continuing to be a strong buyer….
What global population does in the next decades…. Is important to our capacity to feed our people.
Good for efficiency in food production… CO2 increases productivity… without hurting our climate temperatures. The very fact that fossil energy in the ground was sequestered from our historical atmosphere…. Should comfort us.
Cheers

Something to consider: The chart graphs world grain production increasing. It accepts the world is warming, for whatever reason. It's not a given that western Canada will benefit from the warming. The rain shadow of the Rockies could extend eastward and the drought that has been building/in existence in the western USA could extend north. Be careful what you wish for.

All farmer know that.
Do the Climate activists?
Do they wish for hotter weather with drought or cooler weather with great production???

Just saying when one aspect of the climate changes, don't expect all other aspects to remain constant. Could be drier, wetter or unchanged. Could be more severe weather if the atmosphere is holding more energy. Possibly more wind (or less). It's just not that simple and likely not linear.

Interesting that scientifically warmer air holds more water… and warmer air and water means more evaporation… cloud cover and precipitation.
Growing food may shift northward globally.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
Baffin Island… used to have forests… and may again!!!!
