Is there a bridge hiding in the water somewhere? Creeks didn’t even run here this spring…….

Yes there is, the one by us , about ten miles from that one on the carrot river sometimes gets 20 ft of water over it , not as much this year but probably 10-12 ft under

No snow forecast here but cold wind and clouds. Feel for you April calvers in the snow and resulting sickness.

No warm temps till at least May 2, and freezing every night. Snow might be sticking around awhile.

Seeding plans might be changing in the next wk, or maybe sooner.

                  Jan fogs are spot on.

My egg said wet yr ahead

Number One Highway east of Regina was a skating rink tonight. Semi jack-knifed in ditch at Pilot Butte turn-off. Lit sign said highway closed between Balgonie and a Moosomin. Winter refuses to get on outta here.

Stopped at Costco East leaving Saskatoon yesterday and then on the road by 1:00. Back in Buchanan shortly after 4:00. #5 highway must be more or less the northern fringe of the storm. We were in and out of it all the way home. If the plows were on top of it the highway was mostly clear but wherever the plow drivers were drinking coffee there was heavy buildup on the road. It got significantly worse behind us - the local village admin was about an hour behind us leaving the city and over 2-1/2 hours behind us getting home.
