Would you guys lock in a $725 per tonne price dec delivery.

Bear in mind we get oil bonification easily add another $50 per tonne

What is your cost of production. Take that number, add the profit margin you want, if it is below that number then lock in. That number is a great lock in price for us, even though it is way below what we have been selling for last 2 years. Historically it is a great number and would show almost $300 profit per acre at average yield. So yes, I would lock some in.

The risk of a production failure… if a profitable price for you… if a $300/t increase was to occur.

Started hedges at $950/t …. Long way from harvest 2023!

654.91 Canadian + 36 OIL = cad$690

VIT - $20 UNDER THAT

95% here have not sold/hedged new crop

1.76 MMT Open interest in November on a projected 19 MMT crop = 93%
some of that is non commercials

52-Week Range in November 23 = 676.40 - 965.00

4.75b has disappeared on a 19 MMT crop 23/24 if it doesnt come back - i think checking commented on this already.

not canola but see west australia has just over 10 million tonne carry over wheat from last harvest unsold.

canola question was sort of generic know about cost of production gross margin etc.

plenty here "not foward selling till it hits $1000 per tonne" goint to have to be something siesmic to get to those levels again
