Driest it has been in years here, will be starting this weekend with the spreader and the drill on Monday. Just waiting on a few products but should have everything by end of week.

Pea fields taking the most time to melt all the snow.
Cereal stubbles went faster. Still some in canola fields.
Jazz how far are you south of Regina?

Why does it take longer in pea stubble?

            I’m not sure why.
            I’ve seen this before.

5 miles and 20 miles south. We had barely started to melt when that last storm hit, so its like April 1st around here.

Snow drifts ? They were extremely solid and dense this winter . That rain in midwinter turned them into mini glaciers.
Here any fields that had more snow drifts and or north side of ridges , the snow banks still hanging in there . They are very slowly disappearing.
Any even stubble that was not drifted the snow went fairly quick here .
