You know it is dry, why throw the stupid thing out? There is an ashtray for a reason. And if your vehicle doesn’t have one, a water bottle with some water in it would work just fine, no?

Back to SF’s crop report
Seeding well under way here
Relentless winds drying things out
Soil moisture still ok here , lighter land getting dry
The deep ripper experiment last fall was interesting the past few days . Seeded through some areas never seeded in early May while wet spots not toughed had to go around .
But have to be very careful, those ripped areas are soft .
About 12% done , poking in wheat
Will hopefully do side by side with Seed Master in wheat in a few days then the SM can go on canola

Seeding wheat about 15 % done
Unusually dry for this area , but still have to pick and choose dry enough fields

A little over a third done seeding here. One neighbour is seeding canola, everybody else on the tail end of their wheat. Had a 70% chance of much needed showers overnight, unfortunately the 30% chance of no rain won out. Showers are in the forecast for the next few days, here’s hoping.
