Friday crop report on a Thursday

Weather network showing rain all next week,accuweather showing no rain.Who does everyone rely on for accurate forecasts.You would think with all the surface water and high temps. we will get some boomers.

For a free service, I have found these guys to be pretty accurate. They have every forecast and model available. Windy.com is ok too.

Any weather service more interested in pushing ads and environmental wokeisim, I avoid.

I dont know what that blob over NW alberta is.

I still have more faith in Drew Lerner than any other forecasts out there.
On another note seeding progressing well, we are at 70% seeded mark. Could use a rain anytime.

Finished up last night at 6:30 pm. Crop went into wet dirt , but 2-3 inches down. Hot sw wind today , 28degrees C , and so far we have only had 6/10 s of rain since spring thaw.

We are running on empty , or very close to it. Hope it turns around soon.

Seed Master SR does not have the singulation of the Horsch but seems pretty decent…

Will see when all comes up , first stuff missed frost but in good moisture, last stuff now in very marginal moisture.

Decent conditions, 2.5 to 3 lbs depending on seed size and time of seeding
Picture was are around 3.2
We bumped up a bit now due to being dry ish very fast
Fine line here from being too “early” to to dry
About an 8 day window for canola

Furrow what is your over all assessment on the drill at this stage. I like the look of spacing on the canola. How did it travel through trash
