Combo of both Sask. Need O2 in the dirt and something to drive the roots down to catch the N. Perfect scenario is warm weather but not hot and very little rain

Just back from a bike tour. We traveled Hwy 2 from Okotoks to Edmonton. The bread basket area of Alberta is getting torched. No relief in site. Storage will not be a problem. Cash flow, well that's a different story.

We are hoping to get through the next 5 -7 days . This crop using a lot of water now and the tank about 20% . Better than some areas , way less than some , so still have a chance here at this point for now .
Down to the last of the 2 nd pass RR canola then the clearfield canola , be ready in a few days .
The new P510 G and P515 G canola look very decent at this point …

I’m done with AG Stability they did an audit 3 years ago we have received zero money since it came out and even zero in drought year. They want info again I’m done with this useless program. Any one else sick of this.

Finished seeding at 5 yesterday, later then what I wanted. Thankful though for the rain we have gotten over the last month. No real big glitches, just downtime because of the rain.

Off to lake today, need some R&R. Went out a couple times when it rained to open things. Least now I can get there out my feet up and have some beers.

                  In crop starts Monday.

Looks like “possible” rain next wk.

This is the third year I pulled out of that garbage program.

We made a switch to a seedhawk this year. Best thing we ever did for canola. But still not even close to how yours emerged. That is picture perfect!
