Now that you mention it, Happy Father's Day to you and your Dad. Lost mine in January, he made 100, had him for 70 years. Driver's license till 98, remarkable men with so much accomplished. Along life.... but doesn't take long.

1/2" on the 13th, nothing last night.

Wouldn’t that just add insult to injury after missing any meaningful rain for 20 days now

Nothing below 3c , so dodged another bullet I guess

Very nice looking canola, hope the F word stays away till at least September. After one of the warmest springs you wouldn’t think frost would be possible June 16. Crops are progressing quickly this year from all the warmer temperatures in May and June, we’re at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We have never been done spraying before the June progress show in Regina, this year done first pass on everything June 11th.

Are the markets playing games these days, or just delayed reaction.

furrow, your canola must be growing some fantastic roots, cause from the pics, it sure doesn't look like it's hurting much.
I've seen poorer looking fields this spring, on account that they've have had too much rain.

              +3'C is a tad scary.

Well the canola looks good till about 11am / noon
Then that blue colour sets in and things go limp
Thankfully in a way it’s cooled off

Rain has been very spotty in our area too, we're too use to getting the general rains straight out of Montana moving north easterly. Not happening this year so far.

Looks like it will be a weather market like we haven't seen in some time?
Corn belt is the focus but dry conditions all over the world.

We are all in the thunderstorm lottery.
Got a Tstorm here a week ago Sunday that I was hoping for.
Did some damage with wind that took a few days to clean up but worth it to get the 1.7in.
                    Very fortunate in many ways.

Have missed everything since even when radar shows it going right over us.

Noon and canola now blue ish ..

1 st seeded fields suffering the most as expected when moisture reserves run critically low
That looked beautiful 8-10 days ago
