    Sask Uranium

Was up just north Key Lake 10 days ago fishing
Only way in and out is through gates at mine site then the massive super grid that goes north the the MaCarther river mine . They spent a fortune on that road .
Things are happening big time up there
First time in years the ore trucks are moving , was about every 20 minutes or so , trucks coming from the north site too Key Lake mine .
I think the world realizes going forward with nuclear tech is the only sustainable way forward over very intermittent solar and wind .
If they want to get away from petroleum/ gas/ coal generated power , nuclear is the only viable baseline power source.
Hydro will never expand much at all here in Canada under environmental and First Nation issues .
Meanwhile China and other countries ramping up coal power .
    Interesting times

Just gotta find “long term” storage for the spent fuel……………somewhere. NIMBY syndrome definitely applies here😉

Will it be any worse looking for long term storage for uranium than storage for spent batteries 20 years from now. I don’t know the answer but don’t think the government has looked at the long term implications for EV’s and infrastructure needed to meet the government’s goals for EV’s.

Al the spent nuclear fuel used in the history of mankind will fit inside your average football stadium.

        It’s not an issue.

Nuclear rods can be refurbished as well and get another life cycle out of them.

Some one estimated all the uranium on the planet could power our current civilization for literally millions of yrs.

Yet these Marxist morons keep going after wind and sun.

Send the spent fuel into space, Uranus would be a great place for all the waste.

Two pounds of Uranium contains the same energy as a super b of oil. Unfortunately cheap abundant energy doesn't fit into the woke agenda. Just like pipelines, coal, natural gas, gasoline... they will block the projects.
