Chances are , there are farmers that contracted based on how it came out of the ground, sweating bullets.

APAS will be out front and centre on that issue but remain silent on grasshoppers.

The canola wraps on the divider more and more. Best solution go to the beach.

          Indeed. Lessons learned.
I'll be able to fill my minimal $10.50-$12.50 wheat delivery contracts. The put spreads carry no production risk.
Definitely quit selling early here. No sweat.

This has had more rain than most of our farm ..

A low draw still ok ..

Most of our stuff far worse than the first pictures
                  .
I know a lot of areas far worse than us, but we had potential here

Storm warnings for Calgary and big downpour just went through Didsbury so hopefully it’ll come across and help us out. 🙏

Glad we never spent a dime on fungicides on anything not hailed . Would have been a complete waste of time , inputs , depreciation and crop trampling ….

Canola really going backwards . And aint even that hot out. It just ran out. It did look nice. No sense hopeing for à big hail storm either as the odds of that are even more remote than a decent rain.

Like it’s taunting desperately dry area NE of town
