Had the run around with BASF on a flea beatle claim for $6 an acre Pounce on some lumiderm canola acres. He came for an inspection 3 weeks and 4" of rain after I put the claim in. I had pictures and the excessive damage was still visible on lower portions of the mainstem. Though when making the claim they didnt even mention I should take pictures, the inspector wanted pictures with watermarks, complete with date and gps locations. He also wanted 3 years crop history with 3 years spray history with water volumes, product information and dates. Those watermark and location camera settings can be turned on in the advanced settings of your phone and from now on will be.

Gumbo is getting stretched now. Just about a month with out any appreciable moisture, couple showers to wet the leaves. Cool weather is a godsend for now. But forecast looks pretty bleak. End of month heat wave. Earlier crops the winner so far.

Should have put that wheat another 1/2 inch deeper.

1.2 inches last night, the last rain we had was on Father’s Day, things were getting pretty dry.
