Rained all day off and on yesterday. Ended up just under 1/2 inch. Will help finish the canola and some of the later wheat. Barley in the area was just starting to get combined Wednesday and Thursday as well as some guys were swathing barley. I haven’t heard much for yields. Looked like more rain to the north of me and into Saskatchewan, Ajl, Furrow, Woodland did you get much rain? Some pastures will stay green a little longer. Peas were being combined as well, sounded like yields were decent but I haven’t heard numbers. Certainly doesn’t look like it will be an early harvest here.

Most rains stayed NW and north of here . Getting very wet up there now .
So far less than 1/10 here , just misting now
Time to get back on swather today for the rest of the canola
Hopefully back on hrsw tomorrow and get as much as possible off before Monday /Tuesday.
Wheat still very nice , yields all over the place . Anywhere there was very little snow cover the wheat is poor , any draws or fields that had very good snow catch yields are decent. Rain fall was low all through here , so the only difference is where there was some soil moisture to carry the wheat somewhat through the several dry and hot spells .
Fields with more low areas , heavier soils will be better, fields with limited snow cover and few low areas are poor
We finished a 300 ac yesterday morning that had tall canola stubble and great snow catch , yield was reasonable. Moved across the road on another 300 ac , seeded one day apart and it was 14 bus less . But shorter stubble , way less snow cover and just a few low areas .

Here is one for your collection SF3.
                    4430 HFWD.

Are they old/rare enough yet to be collectors items? Or still just an idea with a bad reputation that no one wants to use?

Didn’t even really rain enough to shut the combines down here. Grains still coming in.

Blaithin, are you paying $15.50 for durum, close to 16% moisture?
