I hope you know that the CGC changes grade specifications from year to year, that they are not static and are a result of harvest samples, the quality of the crop, usually until the expert CGC committee meets, the specifications are more stringent than after the fall harvest samples are quantified and that years quality standards are finalized into the assigned grades.

    Have a good thanksgiving!
    Blessings

Sounds like your getting robbed and too blind to realize it !
Because it has 2.5 % volunteer barley in it , probably a #3 or CF actually , our *** up last spring
We were told Everest would take care of it , but it did SFA to it
if there is one thing I have learned over the years ,it’s that everything doesn’t have to be a fight !
And the 5-10 cent discount is quite ok with me !

Exactly, pick your fights. No point nitpicking. The graders grade my grain and if I don't like it, they don't get it this year.

If they ask me why I am not hauling there this year, I tell them why.

Burn a bridge and there are fewer options to market your grain.

I remember talking to a guy who sent multiple loads of 13.5 canola that he took out of a bag. Of course he kinda forgot to mention that it was tough.

They sent the loads home and he was pissed off. So I said give some of the elevators with a dryer a call. He said I can't, there is no where else to go.

I thought "ok, what goes around comes around".
