The Seedmaster just made sense to us after running a planter and years of side by sides on our own farm .
The list of advantages for us far outweighed the price .
If we lived in a much wetter area , probably have a much different approach.
There are still several old outfits right around us that do just fine .
To be honest , this drill was almost a negative this year for us . Canola establishment was great and had a very lush early growth , but that lead it to running out of gas sooner than we hoped . With no subsoil and rains missing this area the lush early crops took a beating .
We did see some extremely good results where a few rains kept things going .
Was not sure how to reply to this without stepping into a hornets nest on here sometimes
