    Ground is white here and looks like it will be staying. Crop all in the bin except some red clover. Canola crop that looked like a disaster ended up yielding much better than expected, wheat bit below average, peas were poor, drowned out from early monsoons. An ok year overall , there’s been a lot worse up here in the elk pasture.

      Weeds would not have the problem, here. How do you handle grasshopper excreta in mustard? We quit growing mustard over tookage of 9% sound mustard, weed dockage on top, to remove 0.1% hopper scat. I thought I should at least have that returned as seed with a tiny bit of fertilizer added for the next year.

      Furrow knows crickets, and everyone is going to be eating them. So what does cricket scat look like, and why isn't it a problem in the dry down process?
