Been using our 500 every day on Waas, working good ?
      Must switch automatically ?

What was the issue ? Did you switch to 138 ?

Human error! Machines are only as good as their connections.

Yup many of us there a few too many times with tech
Mine glitched out twice this morning, no idea why
Had to stop , reboot then go again
            Can be frustrating at times

We have Case Pro 700s and one Trimble 1050 driving an EZ Steer

All other issues aside. And trust me there is. Each has a subscription and our signal and accuracy issues stopped.

Watching my Outback Max this morning , it is bouncing between 4-7 satellites, wandering a bit

Time of year with satellites lower on horizon ?

Gosh, that was 6 months ago.
                      I believe $500/receiver roughly.
We do it because of accuracy.
                      Haven't used nudge since.
Before, you'd be out if you went to the other side of the field in the same day with the combine. Or the ez steer would wonder. Or the sprayer would never be in previous track, or act drunk.
Monitors still dumb sometimes, but no signal loss on it's own. Trimble support not great. Beware.
Our 700s are set up and renewed automatically on account through RME. We don't have two combines. But with AFS Connect, both would then have same lines with shared coverage. Of course telematics is another install. You can then monitor from your phone.
Never ends. Some of it a little much for a small fleet for sure. But I wouldn't go back to WAAS.

Seems there may be more hassles with GPS in the coming year, as scientists move forward the peak sunspot activity to 2024, from earlier predicted 2025.

Scientists finally acknowledge that they got their solar cycle predictions wrong, and that we are fast approaching the sun's explosive peak
