I think it'll be a good day to price some canola, if one is sure of getting it off.

Does anyone know how much frost it takes to damage wheat?

Temps at the N.B. airport were 2 but lots of damage showing up all over by 4p.m.
Peas were frozen together in the pods just north of the city early this morning. Canola pods are spotting already and clear seeds are showing up in pods. All in all not good!

We are having a wet harvest here in UK.
1or2 dry days followed by 5or6 wet We have finished barley an winter canola but some regions report 40/50% canola in swath for 3weeks and a writeoff.
Today was dry but wheat still 25% moisture and sprouting even when standing.Where it is flat there is a green carpet as most grains have an inch long sprout.
Forcast Rain tomorrow showers Mon/Tue Rain Wed.
        Good luck and happy harvesting

          Incognito;

I am told that this is the worst frost in over 40 years in eastern SASK.

Killing frost right to the US Border east of Weyburn.

          This is awful.

Many expect to have to burn fields, will be no grain is the expectation... will know better later this week.

            Cloudy, rainy week coming

Low temperatures continue to hit North Dakota and Minnesota.

By sunrise Saturday, Grand Forks had tied its record low for the day. Temperatures dropped to 38 degrees, a figure not registered since the summer of 1986.

In parts of North Dakota and Minnesota, temperatures plunged into the 20s, 30s and lower 40s, said a report from the National Weather Service.

Embarrass, Minn., was the cold spot with a low of 20 Saturday morning.

Hibbing, Minn., recorded an unprecedented 27 degrees, breaking all record lows for August.

St. Cloud, Minn., tied the record low for August with 33 degrees.

            Elsewhere in the area, Leeds, N.D., recorded a low of 33; Edmore, N.D., 38; Langdon, N.D., 37; Pembina, N.D., 39; and Mayville, N.D., 38.

I know why It is called Climate experts call it "Climate Change" instead of global warming... NOW...

How stupid do they think we are?

The risk of a cooling of the climate is far more worse than a warming climate... ESPECIALLY FOR CANADA'S AG!

WHY would we agree to Kyoto?

Enviro Canada had some lows in cities that will produce unreal damage, but everyone wants to live in their bubble for the moment. Canola calls and futures will be cheapest for the next week.
