What are guys thinking about EPO for CWRS. We are thinking of taking the 100% with 11.67 discount. What do you guys think?

Spring wheat protein premiums and cash durum prices continue to skyrocket in the U.S. That is a clue to the damage that is being done to wheat crops in the northern U.S. and in Canada because of persistent wet, and sometimes, cool weather. While this is helping to push wheat prices higher, it is the tail of the grain market, not the dog, so it is not likely that corn prices (and maybe not soybean prices either) will be pushed higher. In fact, as more wheat is downgraded to feed grade, there is more competition in the feed grain market.


I've seen DNS 14.0 and 15.0 quoted from $1.25 to $2.00 over the MGE Dec futures in the last week. At todays close that is USD$5.08 to USD$5.83 per bushel or CAD$6.55 to $7.52.

Not that we can access these prices but it gives you an indication what is happening in the US on short supply and poor quality.

Do what is right for your farm to ensure it is profitable.
