    Could it be...

That CAIS may actually kick in this year?

We seem to have it all now. Mold, mildew, sprouting in the standing wheat. Broken off brly, peas completely flat and fields too wet to work in. Spend more time chipping mud out of the combines than we do harvesting.

But we get a shower of rain every morning and some hail in the evenings once in a while just to freshen things up for us.

On the other hand, we've never left anything out there over winter yet. Indian summer......

sorry to hear you're in about the same boat as me. bse, aug 20 frost, hail on sept 9, cold damp weather, delayed cash inflows not outflows. i sometimes wonder if we aren't going through what our grandfathers did in the 1930's. it's kind of the same, low commodity prices and bizarre weather; big businesses trying to manipulate our investment to their benefit.

I was hoping for that Indian to come by after the new moon. It's been raining & snowing for 30hours now. This year needs an end!
