    How bad is the wheat?

    I am still curious to find out how bad the wheat crop is.

    There could be 3 distinct types of feed wheat.
    1/Under 50lbs-Screening
    2/50-57 lbs to the feedlots.
    3/58 to the feed mills.

    How many of you are getting what % in each category?

    Rain;

    The Alberta feed wheat will be mostly over 58 - 60/bu... my best guess.

    I would be surprised if any was below 58lb/bu

      Tom have you heard any thing in Sask. The amount of 50-57 lbs wheat is going to have a big influence on feed barley prices.

              SE Sask, wheat yields all over the place.anywhere from 10-50 bu/acre. weight from 45-65 lbs/bu all within about a 15 mile radius. I'd guess the average at about 35bu at 58-60 lbs. Some real ugly stuff out there that will be hard to move at any price.
