In the middle of our best corn harvest ever. We usually average about 115 bu/acre, now averaging 160-165 bu/acre. Prices suck but we contracted a pile of corn last spring when they were good and anything over 120 or so is all bonus anyway. The guys who do our combining did some of their own on Friday, in a 12 hour day with a JD 9650, 15' head and three trucks they cleared 10,000 bushels.

This years US Corn crop is 11.5 billion bushels - 1.5 billion bushes above last year.
Imagine a building that covered an entire square mile of land. Imagine that building was 10 storeys tall. Imagine it filled with corn. That is 1.5 billion bushels.
How long will that take to clear the market and at what price?
