I suspect that the CWB is becoming virtually irrelevant in the minds of many farmers. Not that it should, as it has a huge impact on our farms whether we sell to them or not. But issues like the voters list for director elections, poor marketplace performance, interference in new technologies in seed and grading, continual self promotions, political hirings, the arrogant, confrontational attitude....and the list goes on, have made many of us just tired of the whole thing. So it is not surprising voter turn out is low. I don’t think it is so much apathy, as it is disgust.

Everest;
Here is what one person sent me
"I have been reading your ideas to improve the Communist Wheat Board.
So I have a few comments.
You are one delegate with nine more and five appointed by the Liberal Government.
So when you suggest a good idea, you are voted... down."...
So the 60% plus of people who know we need change... are not willing to send good people down to Winnipeg to smash their heads against a concrete wall for four years.
No hope for the CWB... that is a consistant answer...
Why should they vote?
