I singled him/her out because lifer has shown in the other posts here that he has nothing to add to the discussion here and I don't believe sarcasm and stupidity has any place in here there's enough in the world already and I would prefer that this site be one of positive proactive attitudes not dumb asss comments intending to do nothing more than make some punk wise ass feel smart.
So when he comes on with intelligence and rational discussion(ala farmers son, incognito and others) I'll answer kindly and respect his viewpoint until then I'll smack him down as I feel fit.
Theres enough against us in this industry without negativity like he brings with his nonsense.

One other thing I never said I personally had livestock left to sell I just figured it would be an interesting discussion in an area that seems grain fixated to throw another commodity into the mix here and see with what the present situation is some of the thinking was going on out there, Its easier to judge the current of a river if you throw a stick in first.
      Thanks for the comments though.

I may have not added anything intelligent in some people's judgement, fine. This does not mean I do not have anything to add.

It is good to be careful about coming to conclusions too quickly on anything.

We allowed ourselves to become too dependent on one customer. One very selfish customer.

        Have we learned anything?

A number of people are on the right page. Work to market our product elsewhere. Bring our reliance on the American market down.

Ten years after the border reopens are we going to still remember these learnings.

          Mcfarms question for you.

How long do I have to put my head in an oven for it do be fully done? I wouldn't want it to be half-baked.

              For the record:

When I post from 2am to 5 am,I'm usually at work. Never thought about the bar connotations before tonight....

              Best,

mcfarms, sorry to take so long to get back to your request - my password wouldn't work until the morning. Who knows why.

Unfortunately, in spite of rumours to the contrary, neither Charlie nor I have the power to remove posts. We do, however, often dream of having such power.

I put your request through to the major of Agri-ville.

On the original question, I talked to Darren Chase (my livestock counterpart) and his comment it is 100 % crap shoot as we move ahead. How successfull will Rcalf be on their next target of beef?

He commented there have been some not bad sales for lighter weight feeders even after March 7 but these are not guaranteed in view of the uncertainty - his comment was you had better be prepared to haul animals home from the auction if you don't get your price.

Interesting times ahead for everyone. Having enough trouble with soybeans (realizing 10 MMT reduced production is a big hit in Brazil but the world is still not short of soybeans).

Agreed on the 10MMT and the world supply factor Charles.

Without the 10 MMT buffer, as Oil World is now calling Brazil 53 MMT an further reductions imminent, what premium has been built in for rust, low acres, aphids and weather?
