Answers to "Final Try" Post of Nov 25

    Hello again gentlemen.
I was asked to report my quality stats from the CGC & SGS.
    Variety X, TF CW Feed-frost heat stress 76.5 to 77 kg/hl,Fall nos. based RVA 326,342 and 370.
    Variety Y TF Feed-frost/heat stress green. 75.2 kg/hl. RVA 330.
    Variety Z DP CW Feed-frost heat stress green. 78 kg/hl! RVA 432!
Any way still worth only $2.09 @ the bin. Unless any other ideas.
7 companies say same thing except their dockage is 3x the CGC.
Has anyone tried a Camas seperator or a color sorter?
Have talked to companies in south AB & %10 of their cust. have same problem so no blend.
A %50 cleanout would leave me same net $ after expenses.
Keeping 'till next year won't grade better even if I could afford it.
Stating sad fact when I say 02's total drought made more money.
Hope to hear from responders to last post. Thank You.

    lohner;

Did you send any samples south across the 49th, and check the cost of a buy-back from the CWB?

Tom, you own a super b. Make me an offer to buy my wheat at bin. I have asked 1 trucker about rates. Keep in mind likely have to dry 2-4 points? to meet their 13.5 max.
Anyway, I farm not too far from one of your farms so give me a shout. If the price was the same I'd rather see you get the work.

lohner, what does "TF" and "DP" mean in your post?

What's your moisture content? i gather it's a little tough, right?

And, oh how I hate converting kg/hl to pounds/bushel! That really stretches my brain on a Friday morning. Good thing it's Chinooking enought to warm the deepest recesses of that part of my anatomy.
