new biodisel plant and crop alternative

Reports are that a new biodiesel plant planned for Wyoming will use contract-grown camelina as its raw material. Camelina is of the mustard and ****seed family but is not commercially grown. It was selected by the plant's developers, Wyoming Biodiesel, because the meal that remains after crushing is unusually high in omega-3 oils. Part of the business plan is reported to be production of a premium livestock feed using the meal.
