    CWB grain movement?

Has anybody moved a significant portion of the 05/06 crop? I have moved 5% of my 3RS (2% was off the combine in sept), what would have happened if all the feed wheat in piles had been 2 and 3? What is the bottleneck? Why move wheat when you can buy $5 canola?
What is happening with all the tough grain out there in piles? It is nice of the board to commit to moving feed wheat at shitty prices (guaranteed delivery) but a lot of milling wheat is going to turn into feed wheat if it doesnt go somewhere. (It may have been better to dump it in the early fall as feed than wait for the PRO to drop all winter).
Is the #1&2 doing any better for movement?

Ron: Don't know about CWB grain movement but in our own situation barley(slightly tough, no heat, 16.5%) is moving steadily to a feedlot, in the case of my renter (custom fed steers), and through my own cattle here. One of the neighbors is steadily, if slowly moving his feed wheat through a hog barn. Very decent wheat(I'd say a high two) but a bit tough! The hog guy says it grinds really nice and we have found the tough barley rolls out really nice and cattle seem to really like it.
Hopefully by next year we will have more options for our grain?

Hi from west central Sask. re: grain movement. Started framing in mid 60's and this is the first time that I have not been able to move spring wheat(not one bushel) in the first half of the crop year. This is #1 and #2 wheat that is dry.Have been able to move some durum. Can not get a reasonable reason from the CWB.All CWB grains are shipped out of here as producer cars and if you ask for orders they are refused.
