charliep:I think you used to work at the CWB and now you work for the AB government right? Would either one of those organizations be behind the website: www.cwbforum.com?

The CWB and the Southwest Terminal have certainly consumated the marriage:

Southwest Terminal shareholders will get their best cash returns from CWB grain. They NEED the Board. The Board needs them. Farmers don't need either.

That you may want to ask them.
From their website:
Why are website owners anonymous?
We are farmers. We don't want publicity. We don't want to compromise our neutral stance on this issue. We feel that if we say who we are we will be pressured by special interest groups trying to get us to be on one side or the other of this debate. We don't want that.

Here is the Kevin Nealon Saturday Night Live sublimal version:
We are farmers (who own a terminal that relies 85% on CWB shipments). We don't want publicity (and didnt think anyone would dig far enough to find out). We don't want to compromise our neutral stance on this issue (how do we suck up to the CWB and still stay on the right side of the 50% who want a dual market). We feel that if we say who we are we will be pressured by special interest groups (David Anderson) trying to get us to be on one side or the other of this debate. We don't want that.(you got it)

Here goes your pooling money:
Quotes from SouthWest website:
1. "A number of South West Terminal Board Members along with Mark Schell (CEO), Trent Weber (Director of Transportation and Marketing) and Rick Spetz (Grain Operations Mgr) toured the Port of Vancouver from Dec 5th to Dec 9th.
The trip was organized by Robert Chapman (Farm Business Rep) from the Canadian Wheat Board and was also attended by other local area producers. The tour was quite comprehensive with unfettered access to nearly all areas of the port. All participants felt that the tour was very informative and provided a unique view into many of the challenges faced by individuals working in the Port of Vancouver."
Buzz Hargrove would approve.

I would treat it as another vehicle to communicate about CWB issues. Farmers are smart enough to watch the posts and know the spin that may be put on them. Everyone knows the CWB needs to change with the questions are how and how quickly. An area of concern specific to South West Saskatchewan is durum.
