malleefarmer, As I understand it and I could be wrong you Australians use a system called golden rewards where there is no different grades of wheat just classes eg. prime hard vs utility.and that within these grades you are paid a premium or discount on different factors. eg protein, moisture, dockage, damage, and that there are no dramatic falls when you have grain that is borderline eg falling from a 2cw/3cw. Blending benifits the grower who has exeptional qulityand punishes those that have crap.
