JRI plans to build a 100 million dollar crush plant on the southern prairies. Targetting U.S. human consumption market. This should make the crush industry quite interesting.

Note that one of the locations being considered is North Dakota. The press release says, "While canola oil produced by the new plant will primarily be destined for human consumption purposes, it also has the potential of supplying an emerging bio-diesel industry which is dependent on canola oil." Wonder if the bio-diesel market is why N. Dakota is being considered? Would make sense to spread the market potential for out going products.
Notice the release doesn't say whether the plant will be fully integrated or will produce bulk oil.
