    winter wheat

    I finally tried to seed some winter wheat last September and it is now just about ready to combine. It looks pretty good and considering I only sprayed it with MCPA it is still fairly clean. Anyway - The reason for this post is that I almost did not seed it last year beause I did not want to spend a lot of money on seed (for something that might not work out)and could not find common seed anywhere close by.
    This year I'm going to use my own seed but if somebody else is interested in trying winter wheat let me know - I might be able to sell you some!

    What area are you in? We have some canola that may come off quick enough to seed winter wheat.

      Ooops. I forgot to mention that! We farm hust north of Barrhead/Alberta.
