Protein Spreads

It was brought to my attention that there is a huge price discrepency in protein premiums shown with initial payments and those shown under the basis price contract. Anyone have a logical explanation.

Don't the Basis Price COntracts use the Initial Payments to establish the spreads themselves? Did you mean the DPC's?

Sorry Tom .Yes I did in fact mean DPC's. I was going to look at Montana Prices to look at there protein spreads compared to DPC's but have a busy schedule this week.
