PRO are out Boy are they doing us a favor!

Just checked the PRO for Durum and HRS and Boy are they working for me hell I am voting for the CWB its got to stay because at this rate I will be done farming before they are gone in 08.
Durum ND #1 13 = 5.75 US or $6.44 Canadian PRO #1 13 $5.72 Canadian Then Freight off to Saskatchewan $1.48 Leaves me $4.24 On Durum the Board is costing me $132,000.00 But the ND wheat producers announced today that Grain Imports from Canada (CWB Grain Companies using the by back etc) equal 9 million bushels since June to October But if the border was open I could access this market and make my money.
Spring wheat for #1 13.5 PRO = $5.93 - freight equals $4.74 in my pocket.US price 5.00 Canadian or $5.60 Equals a loss of $68,000 plus the durum Loss of $132,000 = $196,000 For administration etc. LETS SAVE THIS PUPPY IT MAKES SENCE TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That makes perfect sense as long as you still had all your grain to sell and hadnt sold it a YEAR out.{like most think its prudent to do around here.

Yes I have all my grain and now I would be able to take advantage of the market conditions and sell it. For those who chose to sell earlier for cash flow they could use the advances and then pay them back with today's price.
This scenario works either way if in spring it looks like the whole country is growing wheat a farmer could cut his acreage or watch the markets and lock in today's prices for fall and then liquidate his product at that time.
We have done it with canola peas oats flax etc. but why wont wheat work?
