We have been working on monitoring of the chat forums - for a couple of years we were pretty short of staff and had to count on the users to let us know when there was garbage up there - it is pretty hard to watch everything that closely....we have added new people in the company this past year who will be responsible for monitoring and adding comments when they see new information....This and let us know if you see comments that are inappropriate.

It would be very helpful if we could edit our own postings if we make a mistake. This happens often enough that many are frustrated by the lack of ability to correct our own mistakes. Perhaps an understanding like Wickopedia that we will respect each other's statements... yet edit especially obvious mistakes?

Good idea - I made a couple fo typos this morning.....we are currently doing some research on the next generation of community (discussion) software and are planning to do some upgrades on the Farms.com site (long overdue) we can also test with the Agriville community - likely a June 07 timeline on this project as we are doing a lot of programming projects these days.
