Feed prices compared to the CWB

Walk: The DNS price I quoted was a commercial bid price instore PNW. If you sold a car lot on that day, what would the spread ("basis") between this price and your farm gate price have been? factor in US elevator tarriffs, deductions, rail freight, port fobbing, etc.

What does it matter. We are comparing PRO and PNW. Both are prices in store west coast. In fact Shelby Montana where, Freight is the highest, ( only one rail company or monopoly ) has lower total deductions then we do. They are $1.03/bushel (1.21 cdn) TOTAL deduction. Lethbridge deductions are $1.32. To add on top of this their grading is a lot easier. I have brought #3 HRSW ( one elevator graded it feed ) down there and they graded it #1 northern.
