    Historical FPC/DPC Price Charts

Encourage everyone to look at the historical price charts the CWB posts for their different contracts.

    http://www.cwb.ca/public/en/farmers/producer/historical/pdf/2006-07/dpccharts_jan022007.pdf

Just note that the daily price contract is anywhere from $20 to $40/tonne higher than both the PRO and current FPC contracts. May disagree with the CWB on the visibility of process but farmers can use this information to judge where current payments lie relative to US markets.

    CHarlie,

Is there any good long term good info on barley pricing comparisons between the US northern/PNW areas and western Canada?

      Go to:

      http://www.choicematters.gov.ab.ca/

Look for links half way down on the left side.

If anyone wants to go back further than these charts, can be generated.

Has anyone else found good data sources for US, European and Aussie barley prices (malt and feed)?
