Finally got time to read a few of these threads.

Is "the book" the farmer equivalent of the Christmas Wish Book? If so, the pages will likely be worn out by the end of next week. LOL.

Lee: Yep, I guess you could say it is the equivalent of the "wish book" for farmers? Always very interesting and always something new! Got mine about two days ago.

We love to get "The Book". For my seventeen year old wanna be a farmer son, it's one of the highlights of the year.

For me it's always a reminder that "you are only as successful as your wildest dreams". The reason I say this is that the publisher of "The Book" used to be my high school Industial Arts teacher. While he taught us drafting, ceramics, silk screening, fibreglass use, etc. he was always very entrepreneurial in nature. When we were being taught these skills he was always reminding us how the skills were used in industry and always left the "what if" question in our minds. Too bad it was the '70's, most of us didn't remember.

Can you believe the shop space that guy has(on the cover).

That was a good idea to put arial photos of farms for the front page.

Pars&melvil if you have never seen this catalogue i'd track one down.

It reaches 144,000 canadian farms.

CP, that farm does have a nice shop, but the big zipperlocks you see are potato storage. The farm is about 9 miles south of Holland, MB on Hwy 34.

But, you're right. The aerial photos are nice.
