Canola and wheat supplies are down from previous est. This should not be a suprise - Canola yeilds were down from 05 and alot of canola was sold off the combine because of lack of movement in other grains. It is good to see when traders get caught with their pants down. IMO, canola stocks by Aug 07 will be far lower than what is believed today.

could today be the beginning where we finally end this choppy trading action and finally head our way to $400/MT. I noticed that it failed to break $384/MT. Until it closes above this mark it is anybody's guess. I noticed that n/c Jan futures are near $400/MT. Anybody locking n/c? Or is everybody as bullish as cottonpicker?

My guess is when we break 400 its clear sailing to 440-450.

Then we will have a pull back and challenge 450 a little later. If we close above 450 for a few days the were off to the raises.

cotton pickens optimisim has helped me resist locking in lots. for now

i locked 5000 nov. canola on the last rally, maybe im scrad but id like to be 80%priced by fall.

chicken with wheat too, have a voice saying price , price , price .

when it comes to wheat it gets interesting. i cancelled the rollover to the b series. so now i have 25,000 no1. that im not sure what to do with.

wait till the c contract, and take the pro of 4.40
or hope all hell breaks loose and sell it for feed for 5$,
or lock in fpc at 5.10 aprox. and store & sell in the new crop . at a .70 cent spread between the old pro and a fpc. it comes close to paying for bins.

is there other stragetys i should consider.
the plan is to have at least the 25000 locked and i dosent matter if i fill with old or new crop

I did 10000 dec 07 wheat with board, if basis is average should net 5.10 and i plan on doing more

we sold 10,000 2 yr. old feed&4 for 3.85 got another 3000 to play with
