It is actually illegal to advertise a product as non-GMO if there is no GMO equivalent.
Although it doesn't seem to be enforced.

65% of Canadians are obese, and 35% of Canadians between the ages of 5-17 are obese.

The focus should be on the effect sugar is having on Canadians health, not glyphosate.

Why not launch class action law suites against Coke, Pepsi, Cadbury, Roundtree etc etc.

Talk to any doctor and they'll say obesity is going to be the biggest burden on the healthcare system.

Using medication meant for diabetes to lose weigh? What's going to be the side effects of that?

Exactly. Quite typical though for folks to rush to the magic drug which cuts weight. Think it on average can drop 30# without you doing nothing but if you go off the weight comes back if you’re not careful. Imagine it’s all fine and dandy until the long term affects present themselves.

Recently Oprah admitted using Ozempic as she's had it with yo-yo diets.

Ozempic is meant to support diabetics and lower the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Now there's shortages for those who really need it for what it was developed for.

What a message for young people, especially teenage girls who struggle with enough B.S. in their lives.

I really feel sorry for young people in this day and age.

And Glyphosate is a problem, what the F uck!

Wrong. The focus should be on education about nutrition, transparency on food labels, govt regulations that aren't controlled by big pharma.
After that you have free will. No one is shoving coke down people's throats.
You make it sound like people catch obesity from a toilet seat. Doctors are salesmen like agronomists. You have a health issue or a weed, insect, fungus, here's a script. There's no money in healthy people.
Bayer is a pharmaceutical, they bought monsanto to guarantee themselves drug sales. It's a business model, that's it. The doctors are looking forward to the burden. Its not a healthcare system. It's a sickcare system.

Obesity is epidemic , exercise and diet won't fix it. Lifestyle changes and end to high sugar foods will help but drugs may be the only answer for some. Pick your poison.

So is the massive drug epidemic, sugar and drugs would be by far the number one reason for chucks post of Canadas life expectancy plung list , but nope can’t address the real issues . Probably blame climate change first before the extreme obvious.
why is health care is such a flux …… go sit in a hospital for a few hours .. it’s blatantly obvious

                            Wrong.
You are what you eat, full stop. Trouble is people don't know what they're eating. Free will, self discipline, education. Obesity is not contagious, its not floating around in the air till you breathe it in. Otherwise you could wear a mask to protect yourself right?
                            Take your blindfold off.

Heard one of the city fire chiefs that was retiring on the radio this week.
Said when he started in the mid 80's they got 2000 calls a yr.
                                Now 25,000+.
Lots are drug related. OD's and addicts phoning 911 for an ambulance ride to the ER where they yell and scream and curse till they get opioids to "calm" them down.
Saw the number 1 cause of death of teen agers in BC was drug overdose.
Firefighters and EMT's get the call on those.
Can you expect PTSD problems in that profession?
It's a different world out there and we are fortunate we only see a glimpse of it.
