What reason do you assume it is that I don't understand whatever your deflecting to? I did farm in canada. I was one of the first guys running around like a headless chicken spraying preharvest on my own farms and as a contractor in the early 90s.
Be specific about your opinion on what I have no idea about.

    Only use it when necessary?
Ok that's fine then. After all the govt will compensate you for getting sick right?

Out of the thousands of farmers I know over the years myself and through others that have directly dealt with and handled round up for decades , I know of absolutely no one ever getting sick from it , even remotely. This is concentrated glyphosate, not diluted stuff from Walmart.
No doubt you’re on some crusade, just don’t distort reality.
best of luck on your crusade

Not on a crusade! Who's distorting reality? You are. Thousands of farmers? So at least 2 thousand. Not credible at all.
Maybe you should testify in the class action lawsuits as an exprt witness. You might overturn the guilty verdicts and Bayer could get their 20 billion back.
Reality is many farmers still fall for the marketing of its safety, just like the drug scam of the past 3 years.

There are worse chemicals, just not as broadly used. Where do you draw the line?

my dad who just passed at 95 sprayed with an open Deere model M and used leather gloves no mask etc. and the chemical back then wasn't As mild as round up today. He lived a full life.

Funny no real farmers say things like your posting.

I have to Graeme Sait meetings a couple of years ago was very critical about all chemicals but at the same time said make your spray water very acid and it will work better. I think we should use as least as possible it makes uptake of certain micros very difficult. Our nutrient density in food product have dropped alot, That is one reason why people are getting fat they have to eat a lot to get the nutrition.Farmers get paid on yield and not for nutrient rich food

We have similar to share, Dad made 100, yes, sprayed in open tractor, over 20 years till I started in 1978. No mask, no gloves, Blew plugged nozzles with his lips on it! Cab with filter about 1985 for me. We wear all the stuff, sans mask. Never spray insecticides though. roundup is fine....unless you DRINK it. Zero odor, low drift, concentrated, low G/Acres, love it.
