FarmRanger: I think that your plan (expressed up above) has merit. I have maintained that there could be an "opt out" provision to keep the jackrabbit speculators out (for at least 5 years), and let the rest of us wishing to use the CWB avail ourselves of their services.

This is a somewhat different "dual market" scenario where speculators couldn't skew/screw things up through manipulation.

The "all or nothin'" spproach is certainly counter-productive and divisive. Farmers should be working together rather than each others throats.

As far as paying attention to global issues. I do my share don't worry. I think sometimes you feel threatned that you're not the top dog in town.
