Farm Shops

Looking for more cold storage, built a cold storage shop through Norquay Co-op about 8 years ago and was very happy but the main shop guy Rod has retired and they no longer have their permanent build crew. Curious who others have used, prefer an outfit that uses the same construction crew long term and not hiring fly by night guys. I have contacted Prairie Steel so also looking at that route.

Pineland metals out of prince albert are the best around, Jim is as good as it gets, and you can trust him which is hard to find nowadays it seems.

Very nice shed. And yes retirement is over rated.

I think the Arm River Hutterite colony at Disley north of Lumsden sets up sheds. I haven't heard how their prices or quality of work compares to others.

"COLD" storage....have a 1988 vintage 40x64x16 NG heated shop...best investment on the farm. Build one when younger, my advice. Spent my younger winters there.

Another Quonset that is 1972 version. Metal in it is way stronger than the collapsed one. 40x80. $5200 cost plus concrete. GST on new one was $12500. PST was more.
