This is all my opinion but $10 wht sounds great but we can hardly see $9 for 1red13.5. Calendar keeps changing months and I think a lot of wht will be (and has) been sold before we see that elusive $10 again in eastern sask. Same can be said about big canola prices, Someone has been selling at these “lower” prices as our local crush is filled till February and the other April. Commodities seems to be trending lower and long term it is squeezing the farmers margin for the 2024 crop. I’d be careful about large expansions if using someone else’s money, however there are many strong farms out there with money sitting on the sidelines still.
I’m hoping prices go for a run higher but the strength in our cad dollar and slower export pace (railways parking cars due to lack of demand) a person wants to be realistic. And if you have the three B’s (balls, bin space and bank account) do whatever you want lol.
