Apparently, Alberta is the 3rd largest oil producer in the world (according to media). And Alberta production greater than that of China. Can you just imagine the LNG export potential? U.S. LNG exports now booming . . . .

nuclear can not be ignored as the powers at be want to destroy the petroleum industry in favour of taking over your total energy dollar

It literally doesn't pay to have liberals in power. Even after they're gone it will be hard to sell into a market held by a U.S. Exporter, repairs will be needed.

The writing was on the wall many years ago.
This was a race to get the pipelines and LNG export terminals in place first to fill the finite export market, with what is an almost infinite production capacity. The US won. We are still tripping over ourselves trying to get anything through the red tape.
The chucks of the world thought they were serving their green gods when the blocked, or delayed every possible Canadian energy project.
Truth is, they were unwittingly serving their US overlords.

And this isn't my conjecture, people in the industry were trying to bring this to our attention years ago.

LNG Canada on track for exports startup later this year (natural gas). Alberta has third largest crude (oil) reserve.
