its a changing world wide with the prices farmers are now getting don’t add up to any profit.

So every day we have a screw up in Ottawa under Trudeau and team **** up. Yesterday 3 new ones but the best was he called a election in covid to not release the Winnipeg lab problems.

Even if the Bloc NDP and Liberals joined to create one gigantic **** up party they wouldn’t have 1/3 of the seats.

In Saskatchewan they still can’t get the strike settled but really has either the NDP/Union vs the province changed anything.

I have a question will land do a reset like 1981 by 60% drop from the highs. Or will investors grab it all as banks cut farmers off?

Rent at $200 doesn’t look good now at today’s prices. But you need land to farm and with margins getting tighter will all stay high?

Biden and all his doings in Ukraine is only helping keep grain prices down and Russia and China have a new super relationship.

Ingredients

2 ½oz	GREY GOOSE® Vodka

½ oz	Mediterranean Olive Brine
+	5 Mediterranean Olives

How to Make

1. Pit two olives and muddle with the olive brine in the base of a Boston glass.

3. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with three olives on a pick.

Trudeau wants to add more debt and approved another 76 Billion to give away for the next election he will Try to buy with the NDP.

Moe gets tough with Ottawa saying he isn’t charging the carbon tax on natural gas or home heating and Trudeau says none for Sask people kind. But forgets we all still pay the useless carbon tax on everything else. Liberal math.

Investors where the first ones to drop land in this area due lack of demand for rent causing falling rent prices. You could lock in 18% int. for RRSP if you had money. Don,t think it will play out like that this time. Yes sounds like winter just around the corner for a few more days.

Not a huge Deere fan but I must congratulate them on the new 18 litre motor on the new 9RX that meets emissions standards without DEF. That is a win in my books in todays world.

Back when I had a JD 9300 , life was definitely simpler. Idled along with no DEF or EGR. I honestly can't tell the emissions difference to the newer tractor.Except I burn more fuel.

A 60% drop in land values happen IMO

But will it happen from today's values or higher future values.

I was at the release of a 9300 in 1997 in Saskatoon. Tractor was in the arena, Deere techs started it and bragged how there was NO exhaust smoke. Zero emissions and CLEAN!
Apparently DEADLY to earth nitrous oxides we could not see or smell killed that idea.

It is not 1981 at all. YET.
We are in for several years of elusive margin. But a 60% reduction in land values a stretch. At least here. I am not saying never. Most land held in tight hands. No investors. 1 or 2 larger farms here could tip it only if debt ratios too high. Not sure. Estate sales will add pressure. Definitely no Monets here. 20% reduction this decade?? What could drive interest rates to 81 levels?
