Beautiful weather out west and it looks to continue on. It’s been a great winter for the cows as well. Easy on the feed and bedding stockpiles. Moving the feed boxes weekly hasn’t required any snow pushing neither for bedding areas as well. The sunrises are still pretty nice which is a bonus when doing chores early to try and beat the afternoon mud. Wouldn’t even mind calving right now although kinda hard to make that call 9 months ahead.

The oldest boy is turning 10 today and it’s amazing how quick that time has passed. Now it’s the youngest one that gets to be a swamper since he’s the only one not in school.

Going to start work on sprucing up the drill and cart shortly which will be nice once the yard dries up. Hopefully get all the equipment checked over before calving starts in under a month since time disappears then for some reason.
