Way more of the bigger toys sold these days judging by what is kept in stock. Nobody buys plain jane anymore it's all or nothing it seems.
I like the quad for daily use around cattle.
Quicker to get on and off and go under or over single wire divider fence.

In my limited experience you can buy very slightly used a few yrs old at significant discounts.

Lots of underutilized toys sitting in garages.
All the extra bolt on and big tires etc. seem to come for big discount on used.
Might be due to no dealer financing limiting the potential buyers.
      Check for clear title.

He installed a snorkel and reset the valve clearances, ran good for 3 days then seized. The nit wit left a paper towel in the oil pan when reassembling. So order a new complete motor from Yokohama motors in Japan Roughly 4 grand. Installed it, ran great. But after about 3500 km became hard to start. Our conclusion is the rings didn’t seat properly because we broke it in on synthetic oil. Never again. On second new motor now. See how it goes. Used break in oil this time. This motor seems to have the most power of the three. Fingers crossed. Certainly like the truck, was a lot cheaper than a side by side initially. New size by sides as much as a good low km used half ton truck.
One thing about the mini truck is you can plate it and run to town for parts or the mail or whatever.

Can Am 500 for muddy wet field checking. Use at harvest shuttle between Cart and truck if harvesting without Cart driver. BRP Defender used almost every day around the yard, hauling, carry whatever, 3 seats, Grands get a safe ride! Never repaired either one, just oils. 1500 miles on each.

We have put almost 20000 kms. on the Suzuki Carry. Also have a Kawasaki utv. Has about 8000 kms. On it. Runs good but uses oil. Needs rings I am guessing. I think if the Suzuki had the snorkel from the start would still be on original motor. Not made for running on gravel roads stock.

Got 10000 miles on can am 450 I bought new replaced oil seal on crank and leaking coolant tank on warranty. Neighbor just bought anew Kawasaki mule for under 20 grand. He wore out one already but had very little problems so bought an other one. Looks like it was easy to get in and out off.

Horses don't stink. However I do agree that a sxs is much handier than a quad.

Polaris make a 570 Ranger full size which is the same body of the bigger ones with a smaller engine if you are towing a bunch and don't need to drive 80 kmh. Quite abit cheaper than anything else.
