The only way younger people are getting a leg up in this country is from inheritances and gifts from the older generations, and Trudeau cut that off at the knees.

In the Angus Reid poll it shows Trudeau and company down to 33 seats with both him and Freeland losing their seats. Block takes opposition. Wow, things are changing fast.

Not sure if this is relevant, but twitchy (aka freakland), omitted the capital gains changes in todays budget bill introduction. Maybe they still sneak it in somewhere, or maybe they saw the polls . Hopefully it dies a quiet death.

Here’s a good example of the consequences of the current economic situation and changes to the capital gains tax rates. We’ve been renting a piece of land for close to 50 years from some good folks, handed down through the generations. Get a phone call today they want to sell soon before the new capital gains tax comes into effect, as well as cost of living is hitting their young family hard. Been great landlords but they want the money before they get screwed. Time twitchy Freeland goes and volunteers on the frontlines in Ukraine, Trudeau goes skiing, and Singh goes to India to set up the republic of Khalistan.
