Well the Freeland family farm liquidated and sold out a year or two ago, so they saved a lot of money from excess tax.

Everybody is just trying to get to an election and hope we can change this course. Pushback means nothing to Trudeau, waste of time.

Harper himself said yesterday that it will be very difficult for PP to turn this ship around. Totally agree. I expect a sovereign debt crisis at sometime in the near future and crack up of the country.

Mexico has overtaken us. Let that sink in, we are the new Mexico. Without the weather or beaches.

I have been lobbying the Premiers to support Constitutional reform: an equal, Elected, and Effective Senate. If you are old like me, you may remember my lobbying for this in the Meech Lake Accord days.

The issue of representation and overspending begins in the Senate. An appointed unequal Senate has zero checks and balances. Secondly, there is zero balance in rural areas, which traditionally share more conservative views on debt and spending.

Premier Blaine Higgs of New Brunswick, who also has expressed carbon tax concern, sent a positive response regarding the need for Constitutional reform.

I am still waiting to receive a response from Premier Scott Moe, who received the same request for action. I will ask him when he attends the Community Meeting on April 27 at the arena in Speers.
