It doesn't look like it. The farm groups had a big pow wow in Ottawa a few days ago and obviously engaged in whiskey tasting instead of real concerns. There were lots of photo ops , noticed Todd Lewis was in a few. While they increased the exemption , they also increased the inclusion rate for taxes.
Seems odd that Dave Carey pats himself on the back for being a top lobbyist in Ottawa and this shit happens.
John Manley was interviewed and said it was poor policy to increase the rate. The liberals found it was more effective at a 50% inclusion rate back when they reduced in the 1990s.
Given the cost of living , many farmers pension relies on the sale of farm , it really makes no sense what they did.
And for other businesses , what is the incentive to set up here???
Unless business oriented all other editorials I've read are tax supportive. As are all comments.
