Very wet just north of us now
might have to eat my words on the last 20%, said never ever been to wet , well , Gettin close now
Still not nearly as wet as some of you are or have been , but a decent problem for us considering the past 20 years for this time of year .
and yes it has been 20 years , 2004 , it’s called weather cycles

1/3 left to go as of tonight.
Decided today too rebuild the shaft bearings and a one way bearing that is used for doing your calibrations on a bourgualt. Had parts and it rained so did it but they shorted us a few pieces so back to town.
Late start with both.
Drill 2 has one more section of wheat and then I join drill one on canola.to finish.

Lucky number 13% seeded here. Some guys haven’t even started. Went from drier than a popcorn fart to mud everywhere the very beginning of may. Rain every 3-4 days, and nothing under 1/2” it seems. Will be switching out some wheat acres to barley if this continues. Mother Nature sure making things difficult. As much as we needed the rain, it makes getting the work done hard. Pastures and hay look awesome though!Last edited by flea beetle; May 20, 2024, 21:45.
